Iittala’s new range of casseroles, Neo, has been designed by one of the foremost design and architectural offices in Scandinavia, Claesson Koivisto Rune. As a result, the new Neo casserole is exceptionally distinguished, ergonomic and of lasting Iittala quality. The Neo pots have a unique ergonomic feature that also became the aesthetic feature. They have “open” handles that turn down with a slight outward angle. Handling an empty pot is never a problem. But a pot filled with boiling water is something else. With the new type of handle it is easy to use both hands to control lifting, carrying and pouring. - “These handles are better suited to the natural position of your hands. And it has all been thoroughly researched and tested with prototypes – needless to say”, Koivisto explains with a smile. - “The outsides of the handles are flat and straight to match the geometry of the pot. But the inside of the handle is rounded to sit softly in the hand.”
