The Chasseur brand was created in 1994 to provide good quality professional cast iron ovenware at a reasonable price. There are now many different items in the Chasseur range available in a large variety of shapes, sizes and colours. At the Chasseur foundry in the Ardennes, skilled French craftsmen have been manufacturing cast iron ovenware and cookware of the finest quality for over 75 years. Each item is made to the highest standard and is designed to provide cooks with a lifetime of good service. Every cooking pot and saucepan in the Chasseur ovenware and cookware range will assist you in cooking many fantastic dishes. The cast iron construction retains heat better than other materials, allowing you to cook more economically at lower temperatures and distributes the heat evenly across the base ensuring that there are no hot spots that might cause food to stick. The tough wooden handles on the saucepans which stay cool during cooking, phenolic lid knobs that are ovenproof to 200°C and the convenience of pouring lips on the saucepans are three more reasons for choosing Chasseur cookware.
