Caring for your Henckels Knife Set

  • Knives should be washed individually, immediately after use. Use luke warm water and a soft sponge, then dry before storing.
  • Your knives should be sharpened regularly, preferably every time you use them. This will ensure that they perform better and make accidents less likely.
  • Never store your knives loose in a drawer. It is not only unsafe, but will also dull the edges. Use a knife block or a magnetic rack to keep your knives safe and their edges protected.
  • Do not chop on steel, glass or marble. These surfaces are too hard and will quickly dull your knives. Wooden or plastic boards are best.
  • Always use your knives only for the purpose that they are intended. Do not use as a can opener or to chop up bones.
