If ease of use is important to you then like us, you will be impressed with how easy these pans are to clean after use. It is usually sufficient to just rinse out the pan with hot water and wipe clean with a paper towel, but you can also use detergent or even put your pan in the dishwasher (although if you do use the dishwasher it is advisable to re-oil the pan lightly afterwards).
Some pans have removable handles which are ideal for use in AGA and other range cookers. There are even, in addition to the standard glass lids, flat-topped stainless steel lids so that pans can be stacked in the oven.
